Christmas Card Class

24 Christmas Cards for $25

Tuesday, November 24th
5:30pm-??

Please sign up by November 16

You will make 3 each of the 8 cards pictured below for a total of 24. I would like to keep the class size to 10 people so let me know as soon as possible if you would like to do this class. If more than 10 people want to do the class, then I will try to do another class another night or afternoon and see who can come to one or the other class.

It is hard to see in these pictures but the big snowflake is cut from a shiny Bazzill cardstock and the smaller one is embossed with a sparkly embossing powder.

All 4 of these cards have a glimmer mist sprayed on them and it makes them a little sparkly and pretty. The one on the top in the middle opens up like double doors with the circle snowflake holding it closed.

Fall Card Class

Fall is finally here and I have a great card class that celebrates the beautiful colors of Fall. You will make 10 cards plus a cute gift box to store or give them in. (And you will have a few extra supplies to take home, but I'll get to that.) The cards are various occassions. This would be a cute gift to make for someone on your Christmas list and get a jump on your holidays.

(all the cards have a little something on the inside, too)

Tuesday, October 20th
5:30pm

$30.00 ** (you will have extra ribbon and the chipboard buttons and maybe a little paper)

Sign Up by: Friday, October 9

**I strongly recommend that you have the Chalk Ink squares from Close to My Heart. I used the chocolate one on every card. I feel that it holds up better than the Chestnut Roan chalk ink pad and lasts so much longer. If you do not already have them, you will love them and use them over and over. It comes in a set of two, chocolate and black, and would add an extra $3.70 to the class fee.
There are other options for this class, so see the email I sent out. If you have questions, call me and I will answer them.
See bottom of post for supplies to bring to the class.
Extra ribbon and chipboard buttons
the box/purse
(and you will have the pattern to make more)
You will need to bring scissors and glue.

If you have these, please bring double-sided tape, Chocolate chalk ink, a corner rounder, and the following inks from Close to My Heart: Chocolate, Sorbet, and Sweet Leaf.

Choose Your Own Sentiment Card Class

15 Cards for $20
Tuesday, July 14
5:30-???
Please sign up and pay by Monday, July 6th.

You will LOVE this card class. First, you get to choose what sentiment you want on the cards. I have sentiments on my cards and you can make one just like it, or choose a different one. I have lots and lots of different sayings that will fit in each spot. Second, each card has a cute "something" on the inside that matches the outside of the card. I showed the inside of a few of the cards below so you can see what I mean. And, third, all of the cards come with envelopes! I have been so excited about these cards and I know you will love them too. It is so hard to show all the detail in these pictures. Some things are popped up, some have shimmer, and some glitter. The pictures just don't do them justice.

You will need to bring adhesive and scissors. If you have the following chalk inks, it would be great if you brought them: Charcoal, Chestnut Roan, Creamy Brown and Rouge. We only use Rouge on one card so don't worry too much about that one. The others would be really helpful to have because most of the cards use some sort of chalk ink. Also, many cards use Chocolate ink from Close to my Heart. If you have that color and don't mind if we use it, I would appreciate it if you could bring it.

All for $20? Come on, 15 cards for $20! Where are you going to find a better deal than that?

These are the insides of the cards directly above them.

(The green one is a gift card/money holder.)

Organize Your Cards and Make a Few, Too

Card Organizer Box and Cards

Tuesday, May 5th at 5:30

Please sign up and pay by Tuesday, April 21st so I can get everything ordered for the class.

Do you want a great way to organize your cards? Then here is the class for you. These great Memory Boxes from Close to My Heart are making it easy to organize and even display your cards. You have a few options with this class. The basic class is to make an All Occasion card box and 8 cards to go in it. This class will also show you that you can make cards out of the Level 1 kits from Close to My Heart. There is hardly any stamping on these cards and box as we will use the stickers that come in the Level 1 kit. Here are pictures of how the box looks standing up on a shelf, how it looks open, and the cards you will make as well. (I just realized that I spelled Occasion wrong on the spine of the box. Don't worry, yours will be spelled right and now I have to fix mine!) Or, you can choose a different title for the box. Just let me know ahead of time.

Basic Class
$28
You will need dark brown chalk ink if you have one. I also used Cocoa, Chrystal Blue, and Twilight ink from Close to My Heart.
After you've made an All Occasion box, you have the option to make another box for Thank You cards or a title of your choice. This option is limited to the first 6 people due to paper availability. Here is the additional box for Thank You cards. See how nice they look standing together. They make organizing your cards easy and fun to display as well.
Additional Thank You Card Box
$12

Even more options. I have a few other sets of paper that I can use so you can make other boxes, such as birthday and Christmas. Just give me a call and let me know what you would like. Each box with paper from me would be $12.

You can also order extra blank Memory Keeper boxes for $6.50 so you can make more boxes to finish organizing all of your cards.

BIRTHDAY CARDS, BIRTHDAY CARDS!

Do you need birthday cards? This class is for you. There are 8 girl and 8 boy cards for a total of 16 cards. I had kid birthdays in mind when I made them but several of them are appropriate for kids or adults. There's a new criss cross card technique that you will learn as well. The bottom picture is a close up of two of the four cards like this that you will make. They have a pocket and the middle slides out. Cute and easy to make. The picture below doesn't really do them justice. Sorry. Please sign up by Saturday, Feb. 14th.

Tuesday, February 17 6:00pm

Cost is $20

Class supplies:

Adhesive (especially you Corinne ;) ) , scissors, ruler (for the criss cross cards), brown chalk ink

Other Close to My Heart inks I used to distress and stamp on cards are listed below. Bring them IF you have them, but don't worry if you don't.

Chocolate, Topiary, Desert Sand, Hollyhock, Indian Corn Blue, Outdoor Denim, Ocean, Crystal Blue
